This is going to be my main blog, where I will be making all future postings on a regular basis. If a posting pertains to a specific subject covered by one of my other blogs (see below under 'links'), I may add it there also. These other blogs will also have an archival character. 'Gyaan guru' is the title my son once conferred on me. mockingly though, when I tried to impart to him some unsolicited gyaan. Well, obviously, that hasn't deterred me.
Been a regular commentator on civic and economic issues through the 'letters to editor' columns of leading dailies, from long. Member of the Indian Liberal Group. Believe very strongly that the government should confine itself to just governing, and should get out of providing services and producing goods.
